Our goal is to vividly illustrate the profound impact of light pollution on people's vision during the relentless urbanization process through a visual and auditory journey. Starting with the simulation of an unpolluted city night using soft lighting and visual colors to reflect the natural state of human vision, we gradually transition to rich and harsh colors symbolizing the detrimental effects of light pollution on sight. Simultaneously, the accompanying sound shifts from natural ASMR to a discordant, industrialized composition, mirroring the relentless advance of urbanization eroding the tranquil corners of our cities. Through this gradually discomforting experience, we aim to raise awareness among the audience about the consequences of natural resource loss during urbanization, fostering reflection on the harm inflicted on our natural surroundings in the relentless march of urban development.

Our initial idea was to incorporate plants and tanks to create a natural sense. We used fake grass on the shelf to enhance the natural feel. However, the first experiment with a water flow control system failed due to poor sealing. We then employed the siphon principle for water flow, which initially worked well but involved a comical method of water intake.

After adjusting the water, we focused on the visual and webcam aspects. We
removed the grass as it appeared odd with the glass paper. To make the visual more interesting, we added ocean beads to the water to evoke a sense of life. The glass paper and light acted as elements representing light pollution. During the performance, the light and glass initially floated on the tank surface. As the soundscape entered the second stage, the paper and light dove into the water, and the webcam angle followed suit.
